Chico built me a great 2110 for my bus that is blowing everything away. He helped me over the phone more times than I can count when I needed to speak to him about stuff.  He gladly packed and repacked my motor to fit in all the stuff I had delivered to him from other Samba buys, and he did everything he could to help me out. I cannot recommend him highly enough - We should all be supporting excellent VW'ers like this, they are the muscle behind the whole VW scene!

Chico built us the 1776 turnkey and it's awesome! Aside from the quality and craftsmanship, the motor was delivered early and his customer service is outstanding. Anytime you put a brand new motor into a 37 yr old car, there are going to be some quirks. Chico answered every single one of my calls and gave me precise and accurate answers without fail.  Nowadays customer service calls for major companies get answered in India. Chico is good ole fashioned USA honesty and integrity. Bottom line is if you want the best, call my friend Chico!!

Chico was great to work with, allowing me to make changes to the initial package deal as he built the engine. Chico helped me put together an engine that would throw your head back yet give me the reliability to drive +/- 75 miles a day as my daily driver. I own a few air-cooleds and always love the conversations I strike up with strangers on the cars. Now when I lift the deck lid everyone takes a step back in awe!
